After the Applause is a navigator service for mental health support in sports, theatre and entertainment, co-founded by Dr. Thomas A. Gordon and Sonya Denyse. A circle of licensed counselors and professional coaches with lived experience inside these industries listens to each client, matches them to vetted providers, and confirms the connection held. We navigate, listen, match, and refer; we do not provide ongoing therapy or coaching.

Dr. Thomas A. Gordon

Dr. Thomas A. Gordon is a licensed psychologist and co-founder of After the Applause, helping high performers stabilize their footing during critical transitions while addressing the structural barriers they face.

Sonya Denyse

Sonya Denyse is a Dream Strategist and founder of DreamDevelopment. She formerly served as Head of Speaker Marketing at UTA Speakers, a division of United Talent Agency, and served on the agency's Leadership Council. She is a Perplexity Business Fellow, featured in Arlan Hamilton's The Revenue Playbook and listed in Seth Godin's Bull Market.
